The Crystal Card Project is a grass roots organization first conceived in March of 2016. Its founders are a group of women who have received a “Crystal Award” for outstanding volunteer service in the community of Sun Lakes, AZ.
Its purpose is to recycle greeting cards to raise money for charity. The charity chosen to receive funds is My Sister’s Place, a Chandler based support program for victims of domestic violence.
The goal of the project is to raise at least $5,000 each year to donate. The money will be raised through the sale of greeting cards that have been remade from parts of used cards that would have otherwise been discarded.
